If you're ready to take the TOEFL, (you've read the documents listed below, practiced and prepared) then you have to register before you can take it. ETS, the company who created the TOEFL also has a step-by-step guide to completing your TOEFL registration online, which is handy if the whole process is confusing to you!
The link at the top of the page will ask you questions about the following info:
- Test Type: Decide whether you'll be taking the TOEFL iBT (Internet-based test) or the TOEFL pBT (Paper-based test).
- City: Not all locations have both the IBT and PBT, so you'll be able to choose different cities near your home that offer the test in whichever format you'd prefer.
- Testing Fee: Based on the website info, you'll either be paying somewhere between $160 to $225 depending on the city and country in which you'll be testing. There are also other fees for things like late registration, changing your test date and more.
