Question: Should I Re-take the SAT?
Answer: More than half of all students take the SAT I more than once. This is why it's a good idea to take it by the spring of your junior year - you may want to try again for higher scores.
My advice is to re-take if you plan to do more test prep, or if your nerves ruined the first test. In this way, you'll be sure to score higher next time by building knowledge, confidence, and test-taking skills.
FYI, every college admissions counselor I've met has said to avoid taking the SAT more than 3 times. It looks like you're scrambling for points, or neurotic :).
