Once you've familiarized yourself with the SAT's structure, take as many practice tests as possible to put your new knowledge into practice. Get familiar with the test format, especially the directions and question types in each section.
You can print out the Official 2006-2007 SAT Practice Test for free and practice taking it under test conditions, then plug in your answers online to get an SAT score report. If you have time for more practice tests, buy the College Board's Official SAT Study Guide. It offers 8 authentic practice tests, detailed solutions, and basic lessons that will speed up your review time.
After all of that intense preparation, rest well on the night before the SAT so you'll be refreshed in the morning. Don't forget to eat a good breakfast before the test, and bring water and gum or a snack to energize yourself during breaks.
