The Essay Section

Every SAT I begins with an Essay section. You will be given a topic, and then you have 25 minutes to develop a clear, logical essay. No specific background knowledge is required, but you will need to develop a well thought-out response based on good evidence, reasoning, and organization. Your test prep for this section of the SAT should include reading sample essays and practicing skills like outlining and developing logical responses.
