If you're preparing to take the MCAT, there are a number of study aids available, including apps, books, review classes and tutors. An MCAT app can be a particularly useful tool because unlike classes or tutors, you can review whenever you want, and unlike thick study books, an app is easy to take with you.

Studying for the MCAT isn't something you can do in a few days. According to Kaplan, which administers a number of graduate school exams, you should expect to spend about 300 hours studying. The Association of American Medical Colleges offers a comprehensive study guide with sample review schedules and other resources. The following apps have all received reviews of four stars or higher from users and experts at Apple's App Store and Google Play. Use them as stand-alone study aids or in conjunction with other MCAT reviews.
