The Verbal Section of the GMAT

The Verbal Section is the third and last section of the GMAT. It contains 41 multiple-choice questions that you must answer within 75 minutes. You will encounter 3 question types: reading comprehension, critical reasoning, and sentence correction.

Throughout this section, you will need to demonstrate your verbal skills. The questions are designed to evaluate how well you process written information, such as whether you fully understand readings and are able to make correct inferences based on them. Also, you will need to evaluate whether arguments and plans of action are based on sound reasoning, and whether different writings are grammatically correct and concisely expressed.
