Reconsider The Obvious Multiple Choice Answer
Thousands of you are registered to take the ACT test this Saturday, and are probably worried sick about it. Here's a bit of testing advice for this multiple choice test and others like it. When looking at the answer choices, the choices that seems obviously correct may not be. It could be a distractor choice! A distractor is there to see if you can discriminate between answers that are "sort of" correct and answers that are 100% correct. If an answer choice screams "pick me!" think twice before you blindly select it. Often, answers that sound perfect may not be because the last half is incorrect or the math is just a tad bit off. Choose wisely!
